- Sign in and confirm the active workspace.
Before you start
A downgrade can reduce visible retention, active publication, custom-template, storage, seat, or collaboration allowances. A Team paid-to-Free transition can set a resolution deadline and pause editing until blocking overages are cleared.
Complete the task
- Open Subscription & Billing and review the target plan's limits and any deadline.
- Export or back up data that must remain independently recoverable.
- Resolve each listed overage, such as extra active publications, custom templates, seats, or storage.
- If Team editing is paused, use the downgrade-resolution screen rather than changing unrelated document access.
- Choose Complete Downgrade only when every required item is resolved.
Check the result
The subscription can move to the target plan without leaving an unresolved over-limit state.
