Troubleshoot the editor

Recover from missing controls, a read-only document, or content that appears not to save.

  • Sign in and confirm the active workspace.

Before you start

Editor controls depend on content type, access, mode, and selection. A standalone Drawing Board or Spreadsheet does not expose every rich-text action.

Complete the task

  1. Confirm the item type and whether you are in Edit Mode.
  2. Check that your access includes editing rather than viewing.
  3. Move the cursor or create a valid text selection for context-sensitive tools.
  4. Read Saved locally and sync status before refreshing.
  5. If content is damaged, review Version History before replacing or deleting anything.

Check the result

The correct controls return for the supported context, or the content remains preserved for version or support recovery.
