Personal and Team workspaces

Keep personal ownership, Team membership, billing, and workspace content boundaries distinct.

  • Sign in and confirm the active workspace.

Before you start

A Personal workspace belongs to one account. A Team workspace has members, roles, shared capacity, and administrative settings. Joining a Team does not merge it with Personal content.

Complete the task

  1. Open the workspace switcher and compare the workspace type and name.
  2. Use workspace settings to rename a workspace when your role permits it.
  3. If eligible, use the conversion flow to turn the intended Personal workspace into a Team workspace.
  4. Confirm the workspace after the transition before inviting members or moving content.

Check the result

The active workspace displays its correct type and settings. Content, organization, membership, and entitlements remain scoped to that workspace.
