Insert a rich-text table and adjust rows, columns, and cells without switching content types.

Before you start

A table inside a Document is a rich-text block. It is different from a separate Spreadsheet and is best for compact structured content.

Complete the task

  1. Type / and choose Table.
  2. Choose the initial table size and enter cell content.
  3. Use table controls to add or remove rows and columns.
  4. Select compatible cells to Merge Cells; use Split Cell to reverse a merge.

Check the result

The table remains embedded in the Document and saves with the surrounding rich text.
