Editor basics and the slash menu

Write, select content, insert blocks with /, and move through the editor with the keyboard.

Before you start

The rich-text editor combines direct typing, selection tools, keyboard shortcuts, and an insert menu. The slash menu is available in Documents, not separate Drawing Boards or Spreadsheets.

Complete the task

Where to find it Document→ Editor
  1. Open a Document and place the cursor where content should go.
  2. Type / to open the content menu.
  3. Type a block name to filter, use arrow keys to highlight it, then press Enter.
  4. Select existing text to open inline formatting and Yazora AI actions.

The content menu groups the blocks that can be inserted into a Document.

Check the result

The selected block is inserted at the cursor and becomes part of the document's normal autosave flow.
