Before you start
A document link points to another item in the same accessible workspace. Backlinks show which accessible documents point to the open document, tags group work across folders, and headings create the Table of Contents.
Complete the task
- Type [ or use the document-link toolbar action, then search for the destination document.
- Type # to search for or apply a tag from the editor when that action is available.
- Open Document Information to review Backlinks and Table of Contents.
- Select a heading in the Table of Contents to jump within the document.
Check the result
The link opens the target document, the tag becomes part of the document's organization, and the destination can show the relationship as a backlink when your access permits it.
