Before you start

Recovery & Emergency provides last-resort paths for encrypted workspace access. Recovery material should remain outside the workspace it protects.

Complete the task

  1. Open Recovery & Emergency from the encrypted-workspace security area.
  2. Copy, download, or print the recovery code and store it in a protected offline location.
  3. Test that the stored copy is legible without sharing it.
  4. When rotating, generate the new code, store it first, then confirm which older code becomes invalid.
Yazora Recovery and Emergency settings with recovery material actions
Store recovery material outside Yazora before relying on it as an emergency access path.

Check the result

You retain an external recovery path and can identify the currently valid material after rotation.
