Before you start

Editor Settings controls Toolbar mode, default open mode, font family, font size, text color, Spell check, Line length, line spacing, Paragraph spacing, and bottom space. Reading Mode and Focus Mode are document modes, not account permissions.

Complete the task

  1. Open a Document and choose Editor Settings.
  2. Choose the toolbar and default open behavior, then set typography and color.
  3. Adjust Spell check, Line length, line spacing, Paragraph spacing, and bottom space for the writing task.
  4. Change one setting at a time and return to the document to check the effect.

Check the result

The editor reflects the chosen preference while the document's text, access, sync, and publication state remain unchanged.
